Description

Newspaper dated November 15, 1945 reporting on training veterans with spinal cord injuries to walk using body braces and crutches. The article is largely made up of photographs of three veterans. In two photographs a veteran is exercising to increase upper body strength and in the third a veteran is wearing braces while standing with crutches. Main headline is "Science (and Determination) Enables Paraplegics to Walk Again." Secondary headline is "Walking and Working Paraplegics Zestful."
